I saw a navy crop top with a tiny gold fish in a space helmet and the words “Borant Mining • Production” across the chest. Apparently my idea of a cute shirt is the employee uniform of the company that put humanity in a dungeon. I’d wear it with my skinny jeans. I have made peace with this.
If you want a Dungeon Crawler Carl shirt, you get to make a pretty important wardrobe decision. Do you want another reader to recognize you from across a bar, or do you want to look somebody in the eye while you explain why your shirt says FEET FIRST? I found options for both.
My picks come first. There’s also a browse-by-design list farther down, including the book covers in their own spoiler section. Prices are in U.S. dollars as checked November 6, 2026. I’m shopping from product listings here. When I get a shirt in hand, I’ll add my own photos and fit notes.
The Borant Mining crop tee that started this
DrinkyGirl calls it the Dungeon Crawler Carl Crop Top, which explains why searching for “Borant shirt” is such a pain in the ass. The navy version has the gold fish logo and that boxy, straight-across hem. It’s $24.99, comes in navy, black or white, and the shop lists S–2XL. If you want the look from the photo, pick Navy Blue.
DrinkyGirl also has a Desperado Club cocktail crop with a small chest design and a big graphic on the back, a Donut riding Mongo crop with a bright blue Mongo, and a vintage-style Donut crop for the reader who wants “THIS IS AN OUTRAGE” and a cat in sunglasses. All three were listed at $24.99. I could verify the designs and prices at DrinkyGirl. Its listings don’t establish a DCC license, so I’m keeping these in their own section.
For the Princess Posse, the Donut Holes and anybody shopping in pink
These are from the official store linked by Matt Dinniman. The best little shopping detail? You can buy both sides of an imaginary fan-club feud from the same real store.
- Donut Holes fan-club tee ($22.95). It comes in light pink, with S–5XL on the size selector. The store says Donut disapproves of this particular club. I love pink. I love Donut. She and I are going to have to work through this.
- Princess Posse tee ($22.95). The Donut-approved allegiance comes in purple or black, also S–5XL. For two readers going to the same book club, I’d get one Posse shirt and one Donut Holes shirt and let everyone else pick a side.
- Mongo Is Appalled! ($24.95). Nagynora.n’s design puts the words under a colorful, poster-shaped illustration. I’d pick the black tee so the golds and blues get the whole stage.
- Carl, Princess Donut and Mongo ($24.95). Lucia Sancho puts all three characters inside one pink-and-purple frame. If your gift recipient keeps trying to get you to read “the one with the cat,” this is the shirt I’d buy them.
The band tee, the club shirt and the ones you’ll have to explain
- Mordecai on Tour ($24.95). DinoMike gave Mordecai a concert tee, down to the rows of tiny tour lettering. This is my pick for anyone whose other black shirts all came from a merch table.
- Desperado Club tee ($22.95). White club lettering on black or navy reads like the shirt from a bar somebody should absolutely take you to. Available sizes are listed from S–5XL.
- FEET FIRST ($24.95). Levi Cleeman’s design comes in everything from chocolate to heather mauve. For the crawler willing to discuss Carl’s feet with a stranger, possibly before coffee.
- New Achievement! ($22.95). The unisex cut runs through 5XL. I’d wear it to book club and let everybody assign me an achievement for actually finishing the book on time.
- Luckiest Fucker in the Dungeon ($24.95). David DeGrand’s design comes in black or heather team purple. This one pretty much makes its own decision about whether you can wear it to work.
- Ask Me About DCC ($24.95). Maroon is an option. Buy this one for the friend who’s already giving the audiobook pitch to everyone in the checkout line. Now they have fair warning.
When you want a different cut
- Samantha baseball tee ($35.95). Three-quarter sleeves, contrasting grey or blue sleeves, and a unisex fit in S–2XL. This is where I’d start if the sleeves on a standard tee always hit you in the wrong place.
- The Apocalypse Will Be Televised cut-and-sew tee ($46.45). This version is printed on polyester and then sewn together. Pick this for the fabric print. Pick the regular graphic tee if you prefer a smaller commitment to the apocalypse.
Shopping for a gift? Measure the width of a shirt your reader likes laid flat, then compare it with the size chart for the specific cut. A cropped DrinkyGirl top, a Bella + Canvas unisex tee and a baseball shirt are three different bets on where that hem will land.
Browse the official shirts by design
I went through the official apparel catalog and grouped its T-shirts by name. That gives you 44 entries to browse without scrolling past the same art on three different blanks. Open a group to shop a particular design. The cover group includes later books, so you can skip those pictures until you’re ready.

Make Dungeon Crawler Carl clothes? I want to see them.
If you’re the person making the shirt that another crawler would cross the room to ask about, email me with “DCC clothing sample” in the subject. Send the shop link, tell me who designed it and whether it’s licensed, and include a photo you can clear for editorial use. I especially want cropped tees, weird little club uniforms, hoodies and anything pink.
I wear a large in tees and an XL in hoodies and jackets. If you’d like to send a gifted piece for me to try on and photograph, email first and I’ll give you shipping details privately. I choose what goes in the guide, and I’ll label gifted pieces when I cover them. More about working with Totally The Bomb.
