I want the kind of Dungeon Crawler Carl stuff that makes another reader stop and point. Carl’s heart-print shorts. A key to my Safe Room. A notebook that looks like it belongs in my dungeon inventory. And yes, Princess Donut can have an unreasonable amount of space in this shopping guide.

So this is a loot list: official merchandise, licensed accessories that borrow from the book’s world, and a few everyday finds for dressing up and hosting book night. Each entry explains what you are actually buying. These are researched shopping picks; I have not personally tested them.

For official shops, start with Matt Dinniman’s Shop menu. The ordinary Crocs and grenadine below are labeled separately. New readers can start with our books and audio guide.

Spoiler note: This guide names items, clubs and characters from the series. Product pages may go further than this article. Skip later-book references if you want to discover every detail as you read.

A Desperado Club book nook for your shelf

Shop the Desperado Club Book Nook Kit. INK Games lists this officially licensed miniature at $59.99 as a preorder. This is the kind of thing I want beside the novels: a little piece of a place from the books. Check the current production and shipping estimate before ordering; a preorder is not an in-stock holiday gift.

Pink Crocs for the costume closet

Browse pink Crocs at Zappos. For a Carl-inspired outfit, pink clogs are an easy starting point. Zappos currently lists Classic Clogs in Powder Pink among its options. This link opens a filtered shopping page, so clear the size filter and select your own size before checking price and availability. These are everyday shoes styled for a fan outfit, not a Dungeon Crawler Carl collaboration. I am already a pink person, so this detour requires very little persuasion.

Grenadine for a Donut-inspired drink night

Shop this find. Donut’s Virgin Dirty Shirley deserves a place at book club. Torani’s 750 ml grenadine is $10.99 and gives you a starting ingredient for a homemade Shirley-style soda. Add your preferred lemon-lime soda, ice and cocktail cherries. That is a simple reader-party idea, not a claimed canonical recipe or official branded drink kit. Keep it alcohol-free for the virgin version.

A Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook pocket journal

Shop this find. This is much closer to the loot I want: an actual notebook you can use with The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook on it. It comes in Kingdom of Threads’ $16.99 licensed Compensated Anarchist Gift Set alongside a second journal, sticker sheet, two magnetic bookmarks and a pen. The journals are A6 with 48 dot-grid pages. It is stationery inspired by the series, not the third novel or a working replica of the fictional item. Put your grocery list in it. Make the grocery list ominous.

Donut’s Royal Scratchpad and a Floor Club spellbook

Shop this find. The $16.99 Princess Donut Gift Set includes two pocket journals labeled Royal Scratchpad of Princess Donut and Spellbook of the Floor Club, plus stickers, two magnetic bookmarks and a Princess Posse gel pen. These are licensed themed notebooks. For somebody who would happily join Donut’s staff, this is a much more interesting gift than another random cat mug. The product description includes a later-book reference, so new readers may want somebody else to handle the shopping.

A key to your Safe Room

Shop this find. The $7.99 Safe Room keychain has a motel-key-tag shape, room number 4112 and Dungeon Crawler World lettering. It measures 1.75 by 3 inches, with a double-sided print and stainless-steel split ring. I like that you can put it on your actual house keys and quietly appoint your apartment the safe room. It is a licensed souvenir-style accessory, not a literal key used in the books.

Carl’s Jug ’O Boom, in sticker form

Shop this find. The $3.50 licensed sticker depicts an amber bottle labeled Carl’s Jug O Boom with flames at the top. The listing credits artist Levi Cleeman. This is an illustrated reference to an in-book item, and a very good candidate for a laptop or reading journal. You are buying a 1.74-by-3-inch vinyl sticker, not a bottle or a three-dimensional prop.

A Princess Posse shirt

Shop this find. The official store lists the regular Princess Posse tee at $22.95. This is the fan-club direction for somebody who knows exactly whose side they are on. Check the selected fit rather than assuming every shirt on the site uses the same blank or sizing. Donut would probably expect us to have uniforms.

A Desperado hat

Shop this find. The official store lists a $24.95 Desperado hat with cap-style and color choices. It gives you another way to wear the club reference if you already have more book shirts than drawer space. Confirm which cap style and color you selected before checkout; the listing offers more than one.

Official Goddamnit swim trunks

Shop this find. These are $89.95 at the official store, so they are a much bigger commitment than a keychain. The listing describes quick-dry swim trunks with mesh lining, an elastic waistband, drawstring and pockets. Sizes run XS through 2XL on the page. These are branded swimwear, not Carl’s canonical underwear, and the measurements deserve a look before spending that much.

A Dungeon Crawler World souvenir tote

Shop this find. The $18.99 licensed tote is sold like a souvenir from the show’s world. It is 15 by 17 inches with an inner pocket and a double-sided design. That fake-tourist-souvenir idea is exactly the sort of book merchandise I want. Carry the snacks you actually need to survive a long reading session.

The Found Family puzzle in a book-shaped box

Shop this find. This $17.99 licensed puzzle features Carl, Donut and Mongo, with art credited to Levi Cleeman. It has 250 pieces and finishes at 16 by 12 inches. The keepsake box looks like a book and has a magnetic closure. I like this as a book-club-night option, especially for somebody who wants a shelf-worthy box after the puzzle is finished.

Princess Donut and Mongo for your water bottle

Shop this find. The licensed Donut and Mongo sticker is listed at $3.50. If your favorite part of the books is this particular relationship, start here instead of buying a generic series logo. Check the individual product’s material and care details before deciding where to stick it; not every sticker in a shop necessarily has the same finish.

A tiny declaration that Mongo is appalled

Shop this find. Kingdom of Threads lists the licensed Mongo Is Appalled sticker at $3.50. This is the inexpensive add-on for the friend who already says it. Put it beside the Donut and Mongo option in your cart and choose the artwork you actually like, rather than buying every variation because it is there.

A Royal Court of Princess Donut enamel pin

Shop this find. Foam Brain lists this officially licensed 1.5-inch enamel pin at $12. This gives a jacket or bag one small, very specific fandom detail. The page has mixed stock and older shipping language, so confirm the current fulfillment estimate before making it a deadline-dependent gift.

The shirt: Carl, Princess Donut and Mongo

The Carl, Princess Donut and Mongo tee puts the characters together in a design credited to Lucia Sancho. Having an artist credit is a detail I like seeing when I am shopping for fandom art.

The Extra Soft option is listed at $24.95. Premium and Comfort Colors are separate options with different prices. Choose the actual fit and fabric you want, then use that option’s size chart. “Extra Soft” is the store’s product name; I have not worn it and cannot personally vouch for the feel.

The small gift: a reading achievement bookmark

Kingdom of Threads’ New Achievement: You Can Read bookmark is $3 and was listed in stock when checked. It is a 2-by-6-inch cardstock bookmark with printing on both sides and a soft-touch finish.

This is my pick for slipping into a gifted copy of book one. You do not have to guess a shirt size, and a bookmark is at least an attempt to stop somebody folding the corners of their book. Shipping can make a solo $3 order less appealing, so look at the total before checking out.

The bag accessory: Desperado Club motel keychain

The Desperado Club keychain is $7.99 and was listed in stock. It is black plastic in that familiar retro motel shape, with a double-sided design and a stainless-steel split ring. The tag measures 1.75 by 3 inches.

I like a fandom reference that can live on your keys. It is also an easy gift for somebody whose wardrobe you have no business selecting. If they are just starting book one, save this reference for later.

The useful one: Hello Crawlers book sleeve

The Hello Crawlers sleeve has a zipper and an outer pocket. The seller describes the neoprene material as water resistant. That does not make it a waterproof case.

Here is the detail to check: the small e-reader version is $15.99 and measures 5.5 by 7 inches. The medium paperback version is $19.99; the large hardcover version is $21.99. At the time of checking, the individual variant data marked only the small version available, despite the page’s general in-stock message.

Measure your device or book before buying. A collection page saying “from $15.99” does not mean the hardcover sleeve costs $15.99 or is available.

The edible loot: Princess Donut chocolate

Yes, Donut has official chocolate. Her Virgin Dirty Shirley-inspired bar is part of Maeve’s Dungeon Crawler Carl collection, and we already broke down the bars, bonbons and toothy gift box.

This is the direction I would go for a fan who has enough shirts. Read the chocolate guide for the gift-box comparison and shipping restrictions before ordering. The elaborate packaging is a separate reason to spend more; you can make a different choice if you mainly want the chocolate.

Collectible loot to check separately

Dinniman has also announced Playmates figures, scene statues and Princess Donut mystery Loot Boxes. These are promising places to look for miniature versions of the characters and moments from the books. His announcement describes a gradual retail rollout, so it does not prove your local store has them today. Mystery boxes also do not guarantee a particular Donut.

INK Games has a 629-piece Mongo building-brick model listed at $69. The current collection lists it as a preorder. Check the production estimate before buying it for a specific date. It is an officially licensed building set, not a LEGO-branded product.

What I would buy first

For the person who wants something out of the book, I would start with the Cookbook notebook set or the Safe Room keychain. For a Carl costume, heart-print boxers are a recognizable starting point: Dinniman’s own site mentions fans wearing them at Comic-Con. Source the fit you want rather than assuming a fan listing is an exact replica. For Donut devotion, her royal stationery and a chocolate bar make a very tempting little gift.

Prices and stock were checked November 3, 2026, before tax and shipping. Confirm your exact size or variant and the delivery estimate on the product page, especially if this is a holiday gift.
