Dunkin's New Dessert Is Inspired by the Famous Whoopie Pie

Dunkin’s new holiday menu is officially one day old, oh you didn’t know?

That’s right, the coffee giant’s holiday drinks and snacks have officially returned for Christmas, but that’s not the only menu item that Dunkin’ has decided to introduce.

Thanks to @markie_devo for spilling the sweet details on Dunkin’s new food item in a recent social media post, the coffee giant has decided to debut a new dessert inspired by the iconic whoopie pie.

What’s dubbed the new Whoopie Pie Speciality Donut, Dunkin’s new sweet tooth offering looks, and should taste very similar to a whoopie pie you can get from the grocery store.

And it all starts with a glazed chocolate cake donut that’s cut in half.

Fans of the iconic whoopie pie can expect the new dessert from Dunkin’ to stuff a vanilla whipped bettercreme icing that’s then topped with a bettercreme rosette.
