News just broke that The Original Harry Potter Cast Is Reuniting For A Special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary Show and I’m So There!!
WarnerMedia announced today that Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson and other cast members from all eight Harry Potter films will travel back to Hogwarts for the first time to celebrate the anniversary of the franchise’s first film.
And get this, can you believe that Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone premiered 20 years ago today?! Ahhhh!
Per the official announcement, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts “will honor the magic behind the making of the films and the beautiful family created at Warner Bros. Studios London two decades ago.”
YAY! This is so magical and exciting.
So, when will this release? The anniversary special will drop as the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, on HBO Max.
And if you can’t wait that long, an exclusive first look at the special will debut during the premiere of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses on Nov. 28 (8:00 p.m. ET/PT) on TBS and Cartoon Network.
