Well, I just read something crazy strange… Harry Potter Is Being Removed From Schools Because It Contains Real Curses And Spells.

Yes, this is true…

According to reports, a Catholic school in Tennessee has removed the Harry Potter books from its library. This was after the school’s priest decided they could cause a reader to conjure evil spirits.

In an email obtained by The Tennessean explains the thought process behind this:

“These books present magic as both good and evil, which is not true, but in fact a clever deception. The curses and spells used in the books are actual curses and spells; which when read by a human being risk conjuring evil spirits into the presence of the person reading the text,”

The email then continues with the priest explaining that he consulted several exorcists in the U.S. and Rome who recommended removing the books from his school entirely.

I personally never thought it that way but to each their own.

I’ll just be over here enjoying some chocolate covered frogs while reading my HP books if you need me.
