We’re only a few days in and the boredom is hitting people hard! We totally get it and are trying to track down the best entertainment for you to help keep you occupied and your mind off of some stressful things for a bit.

I am going to start his off with one of my all-time favorite musicals! Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Some of you have probably watched the newest version with Johnny Depp, but the original is also great!

The original Broadway production actually won eight Tony Awards! The musical is based on revenge and murder and is pretty dark.

Newsies! This is based on the real-life New York City newsboys strike of 1899. It was filmed on stage during a stop on the national tour.

Gosh, this brings back memories! When I was a kid I loved loved loved the original Peter Pan! I remember thinking it was so cool that Peter Pan was played by a woman!

There are 3 versions available to watch at home! The 2000 revival is available to stream on BroadwayHD and Amazon Prime. The 1955 and 1956 black and white broadcasts are available on Blu-ray from Amazon or streaming on Amazon Prime.

Another popular one is Rent! Fans actually camped out overnight to score tickets to this one! It won 4 Tony Awards!

Yes, they made it into a motion picture film in 2005, BUT the final live performance was captured as well! This is the one I am talking about!

There are so many more out there! So let’s get some theater into our homes! Just because we are on lockdown, doesn’t mean we can’t experience things. We’ll just do it from our couches in our comfy pajamas!
