The 2026 Hess holiday truck is a garbage truck with a very important secret: there’s a little Snow Plow riding in the back.
Open the rear hatch, pull out the ramp, and the smaller vehicle has its own way down. Apparently even toy snow plows deserve a ride to work.
Hess put its 2026 Hauler Truck and Snow Plow on sale October 19 for $49.99 plus tax. That price covers both vehicles, Energizer batteries and standard shipping, with a shipping exception for Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories.
The little truck inside is the fun part
According to Hess’s announcement, the bigger Hauler is styled like a garbage truck. Its rear hatch opens to reveal the loading ramp and storage space for the ATV-style Snow Plow.
The smaller vehicle has a pull-back motor and an adjustable blade. Turning the driver’s helmet activates its lights. So the little vehicle has something to do after it rolls out of the big one, rather than just being an accessory you immediately lose under the couch.
Together, the vehicles have 84 lights: 72 on the Hauler and 12 on the Snow Plow. The Hauler also has seven flashing-light patterns and six sound effects. This is useful information for the person buying the present and the person who will be living with the present.
