Hidden Valley says the dark color comes from fruit juice and cocoa. The company describes it as the same creamy ranch flavor with no artificial flavors.
So you can put black ranch on pizza, wings, fries, vegetables or a Halloween snack board without having to explain why you personally dyed a bottle of dressing at 11 p.m.
The bottle glows in the dark
The 12-ounce Spooky Ranch bottle is designed for Halloween and glows in the dark. Which is a completely unnecessary feature for salad dressing and therefore obviously the feature I care about most.
