Jimmy John’s is bringing back the Picklewich, and this time your pickle sandwich can come with a tiny plush pickle for your bag.
The new Pickle Pals are mystery plush keychains included with the Triple Pickle meal starting Tuesday, October 27, 2026. There are five characters, and you won’t get to pick which one comes home with you.
One detail to put on your calendar: the Picklewich and pickle-flavored Jimmy Chips return on October 26. The meal with the plushie starts the next day. If the little pickle is the whole reason for your trip, October 27 is your date.
How to get a Jimmy John’s Pickle Pal
According to Jimmy John’s October 21 announcement, you’ll need to order the Triple Pickle meal in-store or at the drive-thru at a participating U.S. location. The meal includes your choice of Picklewich, pickle-flavored Jimmy Chips and one blind-bag Pickle Pal.
The plushies are exclusive to that meal. Don’t assume an app or delivery order will include one: the announced offer specifies in-store and drive-thru purchases.
Jimmy John’s hasn’t announced a nationwide price for the meal, so check with your location before ordering. Availability is limited and the toys are offered while supplies last.
There are five Pickle Pals to collect
The lineup includes Lulu, J.J., Big John, Vito and Tom. Jimmy John’s describes Tom as ultra-rare, but hasn’t published the odds of finding him.
They come in blind bags, so the surprise is part of the deal. The rules say no character requests or exchanges. There’s also a limit of one Pickle Pal per person, per transaction with a Triple Pickle meal purchase.
A tiny pickle with a name and a keychain is a pretty good excuse to accessorize your lunch.
Which Picklewiches are coming back?
You’ll have six returning options for the meal: Vito, Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Tuna and Veggie. The Vito version includes salami and capocollo.
The Picklewich swaps the sandwich bread for a pickle, so the Triple Pickle meal really does commit to the theme: pickle sandwich, pickle chips, plush pickle.
Pickle Pals are for ages 3 and older. Jimmy John’s hasn’t announced a firm end date, and participating restaurants can run out. If you’re making a special trip for a plushie, check that your location has the meal and toys before heading over.
