Colorado can keep its cold weather. I am still willing to eat peppermint ice cream in November.
Josh & John’s says two seasonal flavors arrive at all its locations on Friday, November 6 at noon: White Christmas and Dairy Free Candy Cane. This is an upcoming launch, not a reason to show up expecting a scoop today.
White chocolate or dairy-free peppermint?
In its November 2 announcement, the Colorado creamery describes White Christmas as a white-chocolate base with crushed candy canes and soft white-chocolate chips.
Dairy Free Candy Cane is the mint-and-candy-cane option, announced for both pints and scoops. I haven’t tried either flavor, so this is the menu preview rather than a taste test.
If you’re picking for a group, those are two different starting points: white chocolate for one, dairy-free mint for the other. For allergies, ask the shop about ingredients and shared preparation equipment rather than treating “dairy free” as a guarantee about cross-contact.
When to go
The announced launch is November 6 at noon. Josh & John’s lists Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and Loveland in its announcement. Check your specific shop’s hours and stock before making the trip; a seasonal launch does not guarantee every flavor will remain available throughout the holidays.
The gift-certificate deal is only a preview so far
The same email teases an upcoming sale of $5 gift certificates for as little as $2 each, with an earlier purchase window for app users. It does not give the actual sale dates, quantities or redemption restrictions.
So that offer stays on the watch list. I would not build a gift budget around the lowest teased price until the full terms are available.
