Daft Punk’s pyramid stage is getting the LEGO treatment. The concert setup that defined the duo’s 2007 ALIVE tour has inspired a fan design that LEGO has now approved for an official set.

The October 22 announcement moves the Daft Punk Concert idea into development as the first product milestone in a broader LEGO and Daft Punk partnership. So the exciting part is real: this has gone beyond a fan proposal.

The pyramid photo shows the idea, not the finished set

The fan build puts the robots inside a pyramid, with a rainbow-colored front and geometric panels spreading out on either side. You can see why this particular concert setup works as a LEGO idea. The stage is practically a building project already.

LEGO labels the pictured submission “FAN MODEL – NOT FINAL PRODUCT.” The design, pieces and features of the retail version have not been revealed.

The red-lit robots at the top of this story come from LEGO’s partnership film. They are promotional minifigure characters, not confirmation of the finished set’s box contents. You can watch the official film here.

Can you buy the LEGO Daft Punk set yet?

Not yet. This is a development announcement, with no price, set number, piece count or exact release date announced.

LEGO’s timing tease is “More to come in 2027.” That promises more information, not a specific day to order. Jay’s Brick Blog also notes that there is no release date yet.

The idea began with Patrick Harboun and his son in Luxembourg, building together during lockdown. Their project won the LEGO Ideas Music to Our Ears challenge in 2020 and later reached 10,000 supporters. A father-and-son build is now the starting point for an official Daft Punk collaboration.
