LEGO Releases Set You Can Build and Recreate Vincent Van Gogh’s “The Starry Night” Painting
LEGO has decided to catch the adult’s attention rather than their kids with their latest model of connecting bricks.
Recreating a popular painting drawn by the famous Vincent Van Gogh, “The Starry Night” Lego set replicates the paining in 2,316 little bricks.
Rather than kids begging mom and dad, parents will now be the individuals doing a double take in the toy aisle!
The painting that was inspired by Van Gogh’s second story room view just before sunrise can now be rebuilt with Lego pieces.
Created in participation with New York’s Museum of Modern Art where the painting currently can be publicly viewed, this Lego set adds depth by making Van Gogh’s details jump off the canvas in 3-D.
Featuring the first mini figurine of Vincent Van Gogh painting “The Starry Night” piece himself, the artist holds a brush in one hand and a paint palette in the other.
You can currently find “The Starry Night” set online at the Lego store but before you take out your credit card, you might want to mark your calendar first.
Fans of the masterpiece can expect “The Starry Night” Lego set to drop the first day of June come this year so be prepared to set a few hours to complete this masterpiece of a little over 2,000 Lego pieces!
