Wheaties is putting Muhammad Ali back on its orange box, but this time there is a second face on the other side.
The limited-edition collector’s box pairs Ali with Jaalen Best, the actor playing him in Prime Video’s upcoming series The Greatest. And before the promotional photo sends you looking for two different boxes: this is one double-sided design, not an Ali version and a separate Best version.
That leaves one small display dilemma. Which side gets to face out?
When does the Muhammad Ali Wheaties box go on sale?
According to General Mills’ announcement, the box launches Monday, October 26, 2026, at 11 a.m. Eastern, exclusively at Shop.Wheaties.com. That is 10 a.m. Central, 9 a.m. Mountain and 8 a.m. Pacific.
The price is $19.64, a reference to Ali’s 1964 victory over Sonny Liston. Availability is limited to remaining supplies, so the date to save is October 26, not the show’s November premiere.
This is an upcoming release, not a box you can order from this announcement today. General Mills has not included shipping charges or a delivery estimate in the release, so $19.64 should not be read as a delivered total.
What is on each side?
One panel features Muhammad Ali; the other features Best as Ali. Both use that familiar orange Wheaties packaging, with the actor’s panel tying into The Greatest.
The special feature being announced is the collectible packaging. This is not an announcement of a new cereal flavor, and the two portraits do not mean a two-box bundle.
The cereal drop and the show premiere are different dates
The Greatest arrives on Prime Video on November 4. Best stars as Ali, and Lonnie Ali is among the executive producers.
For anyone interested in the box itself, the useful detail is simpler: one design, two display sides, and an October 26 morning drop. Set the reminder for your time zone, then check the shop for the final order details.
