Pillsbury Is Releasing Pumpkin Cream Cheese Cookie Dough That You Can Safely Eat Raw
I think this truly signifies that fall is on the way right? A ready to bake or eat it raw cookie dough that is Pumpkin flavored with cream cheese chips!
No worries about taking your chances of getting sick tasting that raw dough because it is safe to eat it raw!
Who knows, I may be the only person in the world that doesn’t eat raw dough due to the fear of getting sick. I have never been the beater licker, the spoon taster, none of that. But with all of these new edible raw doughs from Pillsbury, I may try it!
These cookies are so good, I put it on my calendar to buy them each season. I used to find them in a Harris Teeter store near me when I lived in NC. Now that I moved to the Bay area in CA, the closest store that carried them was a WalMart at 777 Story Road in San Jose (15 miles away). 15 miles in NC wasn’t a big deal, but 15 miles in rush hour traffic in the Bay area is a much different story! It took me 53 minutes in some of the worst traffic I’d ever experienced. But, I bought 7 packs so it was worth it. I plan to freeze them and enjoy them throughout Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Although the Pumpkin Cookie Dough is released seasonally, the previous versions were not ready to eat raw like these. Pillsbury is in the process of making all of its doughs safe to eat raw.
This is a seasonal product, so you’ll want to stock up. A package is about $2.50 for a package of 12. It looks like you can get these at Kroger, Walmart, Albertsons, and other local stores.
Be sure to check online before going out to hunt them down!
