Playa Bowls put a tiny chocolate jack-o’-lantern on an açaí bowl, and suddenly the pumpkin-spice situation has my attention.
The Happy Pumpkin Açaí Bowl is part of the chain’s Jacked 4 Pumpkin menu for fall 2026. There are three seasonal choices, so you can go all-in on pumpkin or take the apple-cinnamon route.

The Happy Pumpkin bowl gets the Halloween face
According to Playa’s Happy Pumpkin menu page, the bowl starts with an açaí base. Blueberry flax granola, banana, nondairy coco whip, pumpkin spice and pumpkin butter go on top.
Then comes the part that makes this a Halloween order: a little chocolate-hazelnut jack-o’-lantern. It is the cheerful kind of pumpkin face, which feels entirely appropriate for a bowl you might be eating before noon.
Here is how the three seasonal options compare
| Order | Main seasonal flavors | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Happy Pumpkin Açaí Bowl | Pumpkin spice, pumpkin butter and chocolate hazelnut | A spoonable bowl with the jack-o’-lantern topping |
| Apple Cinnamon Crunch Bowl | Apple and cinnamon | Açaí with apples, granola, walnuts, banana and peanut-butter drizzle |
| Banana Cream Pumpkin Pie Smoothie | Banana and pumpkin spice | A coconut-milk blend with granola, coco whip and pumpkin butter |
My ordering shortcut: choose Happy Pumpkin for the Halloween topping, Apple Cinnamon Crunch if apples are your preferred fall flavor, or the smoothie if you want the drink version. You do not need to order all three to participate in autumn.
When and where to find the menu
Playa Bowls says the lineup launched nationwide on September 9 and is available while supplies last. A fixed final day was not given.
Use the shop locator to check your location’s menu and current price before heading over. The announcement does not set one national price.
The toppings include ingredients such as hazelnut, walnut and peanut butter across the lineup. If you need ingredient or allergy information, check the exact order with the shop; nondairy whip alone does not describe everything in a bowl.
Prefer your apple treat in a can? OLIPOP’s Caramel Apple soda is another way the fall menu has wandered beyond pumpkin coffee.
