You Can Rent A Cabin On The Ranch ‘Yellowstone’ Is Filmed and It Is Breathtaking
Some people are calling it one of the best shows of the summer. Yellowstone made its appearance on the Paramount Network in 2018, and its loyal followers are HOOKED!!
The show is filmed in Darby, Montana — just outside of Yellowstone park — and now you can spend your vacation right on the property of the “Dutton Ranch.”
Actually called the Chief Joseph Ranch, the property rents out two of the gorgeous little cabins that are used on the ACTUAL set of Yellowstone. You might have even seen these cabins IN one of the episodes. How cool is that?!?
Now, don’t expect Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Wes Bentley, or any of the other actors to be roaming around. Ha! They don’t come as part of the vacation deal. (Although, I wish they did, right?!?)
But, you CAN partake in the scenery, fishing, horseback riding, or hiking through the area’s gorgeous mountainscape while staying on the property.
Now, unfortunately, because of the filming for the show Yellowstone, and because people have already booked up the cabins for their awesome vacations, you can’t rent them until 2022. *GASP*
In June 2020, (Paramount) announced that all filming for the Yellowstone series would take place in Montana beginning with Season 4. This increased local production has created shorter reservation allowances. Chief Joseph Ranch is now completely full with reservations in 2020 and 2021.

BUT, if you want this once-in-a-lifetime chance, you better get on that waiting list!! It gives you something to look forward to, AMIRITE?!?
