The holiday cheese board might need one more jar. Smash Foods has announced Figgy Fruit Super Spread, a fig spread sweetened with dates, with an 8.5-ounce jar priced at a suggested $7.49.
The brand says its Whole Foods Market nationwide and online rollout begins November 4, 2026. That is the announced launch, rather than a promise that every store has it on the shelf today.
Where to look for Smash Figgy
According to Smash’s launch announcement and its PR team, Figgy debuted at Misfits Market in October. Whole Foods and Smash Foods’ website follow in November.
Check the current listing or your local store before making a special trip. The suggested price is for one jar; online pack sizes, store prices and availability may differ.
What is in the jar?
The ingredient label supplied by Smash lists figs (dried figs and water), dates, chia seeds, lemon juice concentrate, fruit pectin and rowanberry extract.
That same label lists 35 calories, 7 grams of total sugars and 0 grams of added sugars per tablespoon (18 grams). No added sugar does not mean sugar-free, so check the jar’s label if that distinction is part of your shopping decision.
Cheese-board duty, then breakfast
Smash suggests serving Figgy with cheese, spreading it on crusty bread or swirling it into yogurt. A jar that can go from the party board to breakfast has a more useful assignment than sitting in the fridge until the next holiday.
