The Frankenstein Frappuccino was a real thing. It was a seasonal drink that came and went with the season a few years back. It was actually know as the Franken Frappuccino.

It was so long ago, in fact, most Baristas at Starbucks haven’t even heard of it.

Color me sad, because I have really had a craving for one of these green monstrous cold drinks!

But, today was the day! Luck (or magic?) was on my side.

Today, the Starbucks Barista behind the counter had been there for seventeen years!

He remembered the drink well, and at that serendipitous moment, he told me THEY STILL HAD ALL THE INGREDIENTS for the Frankenstein Frappuccino!!!

How to Order The Starbucks Frankenstein Frappuccino

To Order it, simply ask for a Green Tea Frappuccino with a half a shot of peppermint syrup and half a shot of White Mocha Syrup. Get Java Chips added to the blender, top it with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Finish it off with mocha cookie crumbles on top.

Stick a straw in, and you’re all done! While you’re there, you can even order an IT Frappuccino or Jack Skellington Frappuccino for your better half!

What you will end up with is a Frankenstein Frappuccino that tastes very much like Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream, but 10 times better! Bonus: it has caffeine!

Love this Frappuccino? You’ll adore these Frankenstein cookies that are easy enough, you can make them with the kids!!

  1. The Starbucks recipe actually doesn’t come with cookie crumbles on it. Cookie crumbles weren’t around in 2014, so only the mocha drizzle for OG Franken Frappuccinos. Happy sipping out there!

  2. This recipe you posted does not include a lot of caffeine, as there is only a small amount in the matcha powder and the frapp chips themselves. Adding espresso or frapp roast will add caffeine, but ordering a green tea frappucino does not come with frapp roast in the original recipe.

  3. Please when giving a frappuccino recipe please don’t say a half a shot of peppermint syrup half a shot of white mocha they are actually pumps and when you say half a shot we’re thinking you want half a shot of espresso. Thank you!
