If cold foam is the part of your Starbucks order you debate paying extra for, Monday is worth a look.
Starbucks’ next Free Mod Monday is October 5, 2026. Rewards members can get one drink customization covered up to $2.25 before tax at participating stores, according to the current Starbucks offer.
The drink itself still costs money. This is a little break on the add-on.
What can you use it for?
The official Rewards FAQ lists espresso shots, sauces and syrups, cold foam flavors, protein cold foam and Protein-boosted Milk as included modifiers.
The discount applies to the most expensive modifier in your order, up to that $2.25 limit. Adding several extras does not make all of them free.
That makes this a useful day to try a cold foam you’ve been eyeing, or cover an extra espresso shot you were already planning to order. Check the actual add-on price before paying, because anything above the discount is still yours to cover.
How to get the discount
You need to be a Starbucks Rewards member. On October 5, apply the offer at checkout in the app, or ask your barista about it when you order. Starbucks says to watch your app and email for the monthly offer.
One important catch: it cannot be combined with a Rewards redemption or other offers, discounts or promotions.
And despite the name, Free Mod Monday happens on one announced Monday each month. It is not an every-Monday deal.
