This Starbucks Neapolitan Refresher Will Have You Thinking Summer Thoughts

As winter drags into muddy spring, I am thinking summer thoughts – like ice cream!

Neapolitan ice cream is (here in the US) generally considered to strawberry, vanilla and chocolate flavors, layered in a package together. Because of the delicious variety, this is a popular choice in my house.

Well, its not quite ice cream weather yet – but you can get your fix of this tri-flavored treat with our Neapolitan Refresher that you can only find on the Starbucks Secret Menu.

Since this drink has a Refresher base, it is much lighter than ice cream or a Frappuccino but it definitely doesn’t sacrifice any of the flavor that you are looking for.

How to Order a Neapolitan Refresher

Start by ordering a Venti Pink drink. Ask no strawberry inclusions (this is the dried scoop of strawberries that they usually add to a Pink Drink).

Add strawberry puree to the pink drink.

Ask the barista to swirl a light layer of chocolate on the bottom of the cup and on the sides. If there is too much chocolate the whole drink will turn brown. This is still delicious but not as pretty!

Top with vanilla sweet cream cold foam and chocolate drizzle.

Don’t forget to thank and tip your Barista for making you something extra special.
