I found this shirt on Temu and it stopped me dead.
This Shirt Says What I Think It Says, Right?
Because printed right across the front is:
“cause i be puttin’ these dogs down
call me the vet”
I’m sorry. WHAT.
There are some things you find online that clearly went through meetings and approvals and probably several people saying, “Yep, ship it.”
This feels like the exact opposite of that.
It feels like somebody typed a sentence into a shirt printer at 2 a.m. and Temu said, “Perfect. Four dollars and fifty-nine cents.”
Temu Calls The Pattern “Random Print”
This may actually be my favorite part.
The Temu listing gives the shirt the extremely serious name “2026 Early Autumn Retro Casual Short-Sleeve T-Shirt” and describes the pattern as “Random Print.”
Random print.
I mean, I guess technically that is correct.
The listing says the shirt is cotton and machine washable, and when I found it, it was listed for $4.59. It was also showing a perfect 5-star rating from exactly one review.
So somewhere out there, someone apparently received this shirt, looked at it, and thought, “Yes. No notes.”
Fair enough.
I Cannot Stop Laughing At This Shirt
I don’t even know who came up with this. I don’t know what conversation led us here. I don’t know why “call me the vet” is sending me this hard.
I just know that this is exactly the sort of completely unnecessary internet nonsense I want sent directly to me at all times.
