The Backyardigans Have Taken TikTok By Storm And I Am Here For It
If you watching TikTok daily like I do, it’s VERY safe to say that you’ve heard some Backyardigans songs.
I never watched The Backyardigans, because it released in the early 2000s and I was in high school. But it has been impossible not to sing along to their hits! They are SO catchy!
So here I am, at the age of 31, belting out the words to “Into The Thick Of It”, which then got my toddlers interested in it, and now we’re watching Backyardigans dvds! It’s crazy how life works.
There’s a lot of theories as to why the show is taking the world by storm again.
Some say it’s the hint of racial diversity bring brought together. Others think it’s the super catchy songs that are perfect for this generation!
Whatever the reason, I’m glad the show went viral again. My kids found a new show to love and I get to watch some pretty crazy TikToks using their catchy sounds. Win-win!
