Turns Out, The Music In ‘Tiger King’ Isn’t Even Sung By Joe Exotic

Dang it. I knew it was too good to be true. Turns out, Joe Exotic doesn’t even write OR SING his own songs!!

They are the work of Vince Johnson and Danny Clinton, who are musicians in Washington state.

The songs are VERY specific to Joe Exotic, and all his drama, but it seems Joe had the songs commissioned by musical artists who actually knew what they were doing.

Joe put out an ad asking for help with a theme song for his show.

Johnson and Clinton answered the ad, and created SEVERAL cat related songs — pro bono, of course — because they thought it would give them some good exposure in the music world.

The Tiger King then took the songs, and went full-out Milli Vanilli on them — lip syncing, and dancing around on camera, like they were his own.

That’s right. It’s not Joe singing at all.

Not even ONE of the songs is Joe — although rumor has it he can be heard singing backup in a few of them.

I mean, that doesn’t make me love the songs any less. They are still a trainwreck.

COMEON!! Who doesn’t love “Here Kitty Kitty.” It’s an instant classic.

I don’t know who you are, Danny Clinton and Vince Johnson, but thank you for bringing these redneck chic songs to the world!
