I am not going to sugar coat it – I am TERRIFIED of spiders. Sorry, but there is no such thing as a cute or friendly spider. They all SUCK.
And yes, while we are admitting things – I believe I have arachnophobia. I can’t stand watching them crawl either.
So, that brings me to my next point – Zombie Spiders exist and OMG pretty sure I’ll never sleep again!
The other day this meme came up in my Facebook newsfeed:
So, ya know, me being curious, I Googled it and sure enough, they are REAL.
Zombie Spiders are a fungus infected spider that are half dead and half alive. They can infect other spiders with their spores and it’s terrifying.
If you have a gamer in your life your mind probably went right to the Last of Us – mind sure did.
Oh and if you don’t know what that is, it’s a video game where 60 percent of humanity is wiped out by the genus of parasitic fungus Cordyceps. Yes, much like this spider fungus.
So, yeah – zombie spiders exist and I am pretty sure the world is ending!
