10 Million People Signed Up For Disney+ Since Launch And They Are My People
Hands up for everyone who has watched at least one movie on Disney+ since it’s launch this week — I’m raising both my hands!!
I don’t think I know anyone who HASN’T watched a movie or six since Tuesday. I’m pretty sure I have watched six a day — Ha!
Disney says that a whopping 10 MILLION people signed up for its streaming service on Tuesday! I’m not even surprised. This is totally THE streaming service to beat all streaming services*!
In fact, my kids come in my room before bed, and we watch a Disney movie together before bedtime each evening. It’s a whole thing.
The Disney company previously stated that they wanted to reach 60 to 90 million subscribers by 2024. I’d say they are well on their way! It looks like they may reach that goal by next year**.
What other freaking streaming service gives you Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, AND National Geographic?!? I mean, take all my money now! Disney+ will cost you $6.99 per month — don’t tell them this, but I would pay more for this service!
I’m totally obsessed with Disney+, and I’m obviously not the only one! 10 MILLION of you agree. You are my people.
They have EVERYTHING I have searched for — even those classic movies I used to watch as a kid!
Of course, they have the modern shows we LOVE too. We have seen Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Toy Story 3, The Jungle Book — okay, that one isn’t MODERN, but I still LOVE it!
I have so many friend that are binge watching Disney shows that they watched when they were young! They now get to share them with their kids.
I have heard that there were some glitches with the service when it first started. The ONLY problem I’ve had is getting in. But, I simply reload it, and it starts up fine. I’d say that little problem is NOTHING compared to everything that could have gone wrong during the first week. Disney was PREPARED for this launch, and I applaud them!
*According to ME. But, I’m right. Ha!
