There is NOTHING BETTER than eating a cold slice of watermelon on a hot summer day.

That is — there was nothing better, until NOW! You have GOT to try this Family-Friendly Summer Watermelon Slushie Drink! It is just the cool you need on a hot summer day!

Now, if you aren’t into the sweet perfection of the watermelon, this is NOT the drink for you. For everyone else, you are going to absolutely LOVE this yummy summer drink.

Here is what you will need for your Watermelon Slushie

  • 4 Cups Of Watermelon — Cubed
  • 4 Tablespoons Of Honey
  • 1 Cup Of Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon of Fresh Minced Mint Leaves

Here’s how you prep your Watermelon Slushie

Place the cubed and seeded watermelon into a blender, and puree.
Pour the watermelon puree into ice cube trays, and freeze for 3 hours, or until hard set.

Here is how to make your Watermelon Slushies

Place frozen watermelon puree cubes, honey, lime juice, and mint leaves into a blender, and blend until slushie — about 10 seconds.

Pour the Watermelon Slushie into 4 glasses, and enjoy that cold summer flavor!

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Of Watermelon — Cubed
  • 4 Tablespoons Of Honey
  • 1 Cup Of Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon of Fresh Minced Mint Leaves

Instructions

  • Start by placing the cubes of watermelon into a blender. Puree the watermelon cubes.
  • Pour the watermelon puree into ice cube trays, and freeze for 3 hours, or until set.
  • Once frozen, place the watermelon cubes, honey, lime juice and mint into a blender, and blend until slushie — about 10 seconds.
  • Pour into 4 glasses and Enjoy!

Notes

If you don’t have fresh lime juice, bottled lime juice will work in a pinch.
You can garnish with mint leaves, little slices of watermelon, or a lime wedge.
Rim the glasses in lime juice before you pour in the slushie, for an extra tangy punch!
