The zombie apocalypse has a sequel. More importantly for the cat people: Lúculo is back.
Apocalypse Z: New World is now streaming on Prime Video, including in the U.S., according to Amazon’s October 30 update. Amazon also confirms that Pedrito, the cat who plays Lúculo, returns. That’s a casting update, not a promise about what happens to him.
This time, the story moves to the Canary Islands after the TSJ outbreak. A supply mission heads back to the mainland, with Roberto joining the group. Amazon’s setup promises infected hordes and conflicting loyalties.
If you need the first movie before jumping into part two, Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End is also streaming on Prime Video. The sequel’s Spanish title is Apocalipsis Z: Un Nuevo Mundo, so you may see either name while looking it up.
Prime Video access is required.
