Billy Porter Will Be Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother and I Couldn’t Be Happier!

Billy Porter has signed on to play the Fairy Godmother in a live-action reimagining of Cinderella that will coming to theatres in 2021, and I couldn’t think of a better actor to play the roll!
This version of the classic Cinderella was the brainchild of (my favorite) James Corden, of Late Night Fame. He will also act as producer on this film.
Billy will play alongside Camila Cabello, who will make her debut into the acting realm, as his Cinderella.
Being the first openly gay black man to win an award for Best Actor In A Drama for his work on Pose at the 2019 Emmy awards isn’t what makes Billy qualified for this role.
He’s been on Broadway, he’s been in films, he’s been on television, he acts, he sings, he has albums, he’s been nominated for more than 10 awards — but, that’s not what makes him qualified for this role.
His AWESOMENESS is what qualifies him!!
I mean, come on!! He’s over-the-top, and he does’t care who knows it!! He is PERFECT for this role!!
