You Can Crochet Your Own Baby Yoda and Have It I Must
If you don’t love Baby Yoda — The Child — you are dead inside. That’s right, I said it.
We have all been anxiously awaiting any and all merchandise dedicated to this little dude. If he isn’t in my stocking this year, Santa’s going to get a very angry letter from me.
Now, thanks to PhilaeArtes on Etsy, you don’t have to wait for official merchandise to enjoy your very own Baby Yoda. You can actually make your OWN Amigurmi Baby Yoda, and he is so freaking adorable!
What the heck does Amigurumi mean, anyway? Amigurumi is the Japanese word that describes a small crocheted or knitted toy. It can be in the shape of miniature food, a cute animal, a person, some kind of scenery, or so many other things. In this case — BABY YODA!
To make this pattern you need to know:

‐ How to make a magic circle (also known as magic ring)
‐ Single crochet stitch (to increase and decrease)
– How to change to a different yarn color.
These Amigurmi dolls look pretty hard to do, but I just spent the better part of an hour teaching myself to crochet in this style. It really isn’t that bad. I have full faith you can do it!
It is important to note, PhilaeArtes does not actually sell dolls. What you get for $5 are the directions to MAKE your own doll.
**Attention: This is NOT the final product. I don’t sell dolls. This is a crochet recipe to make it. (digital file)**
