Disney Has Pushed Back The Release Dates Of Avatar, Star Wars, And Mulan
Disney. Why do you do this to us?
Okay. I know, it’s not really Disney. They only want to bring the magic!
It’s this dang coronavirus that has screwed everything up.
It has been announced that Disney is pushing the release date of Avatar until 2021, and they are pushing the date of Star Wars all the way to 2022. *Sad Face Emoji*
Boo. I was really looking forward to both!! At least we have something to look forward to.

Guess what else, Disney has also cancelled the release of Mulan. By this, I mean they have pushed the release date back several times — with the latest being a release date of August 21 — but now they have taken it totally off the release calendar.
What?!? So when is Mulan hitting theaters? Your guess is as good as mine, unfortunately.
Over the last few months, it’s become clear that nothing can be set in stone when it comes to how we release films during this global health crisis, and today that means pausing our release plans for Mulan as we assess how we can most effectively bring this film to audiences around the world

A lot of theaters around the country were planning to open in August, but now, with movies being pushed back left and right, there isn’t much draw for customers to risk this virus to frequent their establishments.
I mean, I am DYING to go to a movie, but I’m just not going to risk it right now. Do you know HOW many times I have gotten sick, and I KNOW it is from people behind me at the theater coughing. I’m not about to go through that again!
So, I’m sad about the movie releases being pushed back, but I appreciate Disney being on the safe side of sorry.
