Disney Released The First Trailer Of ‘The Mandalorian‘ And I Want More Now!

Yesterday Disney announced several new series and movies coming to the exclusive Disney+ streaming service and among the announcements was a series in the Star Wars universe called The Mandalorian.

And now, they have released the first trailer and we get to see it in all it’s glory and it is pretty glorious.

We get to see Storm Trooper heads on spikes, people frozen in carbonite and lots of action.

The series is described as:

“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. “The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”

This means this series would take place after Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983) and before Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015).

While the description clearly says it is after the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, based off of Stars Wars cannon (before Disney acquired the rights for Star Wars), Boba Fett survives. Although, Disney has stated they won’t exactly follow the cannon, we have to have hope that Boba Fett really isn’t dead and might be making a comeback in this series.

A few clues point to this…

The main character in this series is a bounty hunter, has armor that looks an awful like Boba Fett and he freezes people in carbonite.

Coincidence? I sure hope not!

Either way, this series certainly looks awesome and you can check out the trailer below. Disney+ will be launching on November 12, 2019 and The Mandalorian along with it!
