Grey's Anatomy Is Saying Goodbye To Justin Chambers Tomorrow With A Special Farewell Episode

Well, this is it! Dr. Alex Karev is saying goodbye this week, but we aren’t exactly sure how they are going to do it.

Justin Chambers has been on Grey’s Anatomy for sixteen seasons, but his last on the show will be this Thursday.

His Actual last appearance was in November, but we will see clips of him on this week’s episode, as the world says goodbye to Dr. Karev.

Good, Lord. Does this mean they are going to kill him off?

I’m still reeling after Derek’s death. I don’t think I can take it if Alex meets the same fate.

Justin Chambers made the decision to leave the show as he turns 50. He wants to diversify his acting (He will ALWAYS and forever be Dr. Alex Karev!), and focus more on his family.

There’s no good time to say goodbye to a show and character that’s defined so much of my life for the past 15 years. For some time now, however, I have hoped to diversify my acting roles and career choices. And, as I turn 50 and am blessed with my remarkable, supportive wife and five wonderful children, now is that time.
