If you volunteer to bring the appetizer to Friendsgiving and then remember you don’t actually own a serving board, Ithaca Hummus has thought this one through. Its $24.99 FriendsDipping Kit comes packed in a cooler with an engraved board you can put straight on the table.
Ithaca’s PR team told Totally The Bomb the kit launches Thursday, November 12, on Gopuff. It’s planned to run through Thanksgiving or until the kits sell out. If you’re planning a party around it, check your delivery address on launch day.
What do you get for $24.99?
Three flavors of Ithaca Hummus anchor the board. The crunchy stuff includes Firehook crackers and Khloud popcorn. There’s Olli salami, Chomps Turkey Chomplings and Freestyle Kalamata olives for the salty side, plus Smash Foods fruit spread, Realsy dates and Hu chocolate for the sweet side.
It even comes with a card game called Friends Dipping Into It, with prompts for the table. So one person can show up with the appetizer, its serving dish and something to play after dinner. For a group that assigns one friend to bring “whatever,” that’s a pretty solid contribution.
Look for FriendsDipping Kit in the Gopuff app starting November 12. Gopuff’s Ithaca Hummus section also shows the ordinary tubs, so check that the listing you choose includes the cooler and board.
