A Moana Series Is Coming To Disney+ And I Am So Ready For It
It is happening, y’all! Moana is getting her own series on Disney+, and I’m pretty sure that deafening sound I just heard was the *Squees* of an entire generation of Moana lovers finding out the news for the first time.
According to Variety, Moana: The Series is set to debut in 2023, but we don’t have a whole lot of information beyond that.
I mean, really, at this point do we NEED to know much more? It’s happening, that’s the important part.
If you havne’t yet seen Moana, boy are you missing out! You must log on to Disney+, and catch the movie that inspired the series. It is fantastic!!
According to Inside the Magic, the movie is described as:
An adventurous teenager sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana meets the once-mighty demigod Maui, who guides her in her quest to become a master way-finder. Together they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds. Along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she always sought: her own identity.

Moana isn’t the ONLY Disney news that was announced today. Disney just released the new trailer for the Loki series, and I’m legit freaking out!! I love Loki!!
They also announced FIFTY new movies and shows that are headed to the streaming network, and y’all, it’s time to re-up that membership if you cancelled it after the first season of The Mandalorian!!
