Rice Krispie Caramel Apples

Bring the delicious snap, crackle, and pop of Rice Krispie cereal to your candied apples with this delicious (and oh so cute) Rice Krispie Caramel Apples recipe! Remember when you were a kid and on Saturday mornings you’d sit down with a bowl of this cereal and watch your favorite cartoons? Now you can relive those times and share them with your own kids with this apple that looks just like milk spilling all over your Rice Krispie cereal. Enjoy!

What You Need To Make Rice Krispie Caramel Apples:

  • 2 Jonagold Apples (or whatever kind you prefer)
  • 2 Bags of Caramel Squares
  • 1 Bag of White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 1/2 Cups of Rice Krispie Cereal
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 2 Popsicle Sticks
  • Wax Paper

How To Make Rice Krispie Caramel Apples:

Rinse and dry apples, remove stem and insert Popsicle stick.

Use enough wax paper to accommodate two apples.

In a medium size sauce pot melt 2 bags of caramels of medium heat. Stir milk in gradually, only add enough to loosen caramel.

When caramel is melted hold onto the Popsicle stick and dip apple into caramel (half way), place dipped apples on wax paper.

Working quickly press Rice Krispies into caramel apple.

Next, in a separate sauce pot, melt the white chocolate chips with enough milk to make it ‘thinner’ but not ‘runny’.

Pour the white chocolate over each apple until desired effect is reached.

After your finished place Rice Krispie Caramel Apple in the refrigerator to allow caramel to fully set.
