How do I know? Because I invented it! Ha.

I went to my local Starbucks and had my Barista friend make this delicious drink. It has a light mint flavor loaded with chocolate (java chips) and it has matcha for that earthy-chocolatey taste.

Since this is on the Starbucks Secret Menu and not the regular menu, you’ll need to take the recipe with you to order one.

How to Order A Shamrock Frappuccino at Starbucks

Start by deciding which Starbucks drink size you want to order. I typically order them in the Grande size.

Next, ask for a Matcha Green Tea Creme Frappuccino and ask to add java chips to it and pump of peppermint.

Top off with whipped cream.

Dust the top with cookie crumbles and matcha powder.

Sip and enjoy!

  1. You didn’t invent this. ? This has been a secret menu drink since the first secret menu began floating around the internet over 10 years ago. Nice try though!

    1. I was going to say the same thing! As a partner with the company 20+ years this is definitely not new… go ahead and call it Shamrock; it’s been called Thin Mint, Mint N Chip, and will probably be called something else in a few years. But the author of this article didn’t not create it.

  2. 1. not coffee
    2. Not any kind of Girl Scout cookie
    3. Too much garbage in and on it to
    even drink it..
Just give me a medium latte, whole
milk and a tiny sprinkle of cinnamon.
And a couple of Trefoils, on the side please?

    1. Just don’t comment. Seriously!! That was incredibly rude and apparently you weren’t raised to not say anything if you can’t be nice. I bet you’re fun at parties ?

  3. Are the cookie crumbles the only thing in this that has wheat in it?
