Taco Cabana has added Lime Margarita Cheesecake to the menu, which feels like a pretty good reason to leave room after the tacos.

The dessert launched October 21, 2026, alongside a new Chicken Poblano lineup. According to the brand’s announcement, the additions are available for a limited time at participating Taco Cabana locations.

What is Lime Margarita Cheesecake?

The official menu describes cheesecake with a lime-glaze swirl on a graham cracker crust. The brand’s photo shows a small cheesecake in a black dish with a bright green swirl across the top. Dessert has apparently dressed for margarita night.

We haven’t taste-tested it, and the menu description doesn’t specify whether it contains alcohol. The name alone isn’t an ingredient list, so check with the restaurant if that matters for your order.

The savory side has four new options

The new Chicken Poblano dishes use shredded chicken with poblano peppers and cilantro. Here’s how the current menu breaks them down:

  • Quesabirrias: Three corn tortillas with chicken and melted cheese, served with dipping sauce. The launch announcement describes a green poblano-and-cilantro consommé.
  • Double Crunch Pizza: Two crispy tortillas with refried beans, chicken, sour cream, shredded cheese and tomatoes.
  • Loaded Elote: Corn topped with chicken, street corn sauce and sour cream.
  • Folded Quesadilla: Chicken and melted shredded cheese in a folded flour tortilla.

Check your restaurant before heading out

Taco Cabana hasn’t given a universal price or exact end date in the announcement. Its menu also notes that selection can vary by market.
