You Can Go On A ‘Golden Girls’ Themed Cruise This Month and I’m Packing My Bags
There is a five night cruise setting sail from Miami, Florida this February, and I want to be on it!
Cruises, by themselves, are so fun. But, THIS cruise has a Golden Girls theme, and I’m ready to grab my girls — and my cheesecake — and set sail!
This cruise, of course, ports out of Miami. What ELSE would you expect of a Golden Girls cruise?!?
The festivities will begin on February 24, with a Sail Away Party as you leave Miami — and there will be cheesecake, duh!
You will also enjoy a Golden Girls-themed bar crawl. They’re speaking my love language here. Ha!
On board, you will get to be part of a costume party, a talent show, bingo, a Shady Pines Craft Corner, a totally fun show with The Golden Gays NYC, and a there will be a party where you get to dress up all fancy. Can I just LIVE on this ship?
You can also go to karaoke at the Rusty Anchor. If that sounds familiar — it SHOULD! It is the place where Blanche goes to meet her men, of course!
The cruise will make stops in Key West and Cozumel, Mexico, before returning back to Miami on the 29th.
The bad news — why is there ALWAYS bad news?!? — the Golden Girls cruise is completely sold out for this year. I know, right?!?
The good news, there will be ANOTHER Golden Girls cruise that sets sail in 2021. You may want to plan it NOW!
Go ahead and mark your calendars for April 5 through 10, 2021. Payments are due by June 1, 2020, so plan accordingly.
The price is $1500 per person, but includes all port charges, taxes, and gratuities. You also get to choose TWO extras: $300 credit per cabin,, unlimited alcohol, or WiFi. I’ll take the WiFI and booze, please!
