Is anyone else missing Starbucks right about now or is it just me? With social distancing still going on, we are having to get more creative at home with our DIY Starbucks recipes! (Lucky for you!)
Today we are going to cover how to make the Cotton Candy Frappuccino from home.
This is a Frappuccino that Starbucks once had on its menu as a secret menu contest entry. It was only on the menu for a short time, but is still available for those who know how to order it correctly.
At Starbucks, a Cotton Candy Frappuccino is simply a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with Raspberry Syrup. It used to have an amazing pink color to it, but Starbucks decided to remove the artificial coloring in the raspberry syrup, so it’s just a simple white color in stores at this point.
But don’t worry, this at-home version will be the pretty pink color we’ve all missed! And if you’re feeling even more extra, you can get some actual cotton candy to top it with! (That’s my plan!)
At Starbucks, the Cotton Candy Frappuccino consists of whole milk, vanilla bean powder, raspberry syrup, a blending base, ice, and whip cream.
To make your own copycat Starbucks Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, these are the ingredients you’ll need on hand:
- Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
- Vanilla Bean Extract
- Raspberry Syrup
- Whipped Cream
Grab yourself a blender and add 1 cup of ice, 1 cup of milk (Starbucks uses whole milk), 1 scoop of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, 1 tbsp Raspberry Syrup, and 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract.
Blend until you have a nice smooth consistency.
Add more ice cream if you want a more creamy texture.
Pour your contents into your cup and top the drink with whip cream and you have your very own Cotton Candy Frappuccino!
