This Pesto Shrimp Pasta combines fresh shrimp, pesto sauce and vegetables to create the perfect recipe to satisfy that seafood craving without having to pay for overpriced seafood meals at your local fish house.

You guys – I have to admit, my husband is the BOMB . com when it comes to cooking.

He came up with this recipe on his own one night and was like, hey, try this. And I was in heaven with every bite.

I love seafood but it can get expensive especially at the local Red Lobster – love that place but it isn’t always in the budget.

So, we make our own delicious seafood dish at home and it does not disappoint!

Pesto Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients needed to make this:

  • Pesto Sauce Packet (with olive oil)
  • Whole Grain Linguine Noodles
  • Shrimp (pre-cooked or uncooked)
  • Tomatoes, Diced
  • Garlic, Minced
  • Green Peas
  • Olive Oil
  • Grated Romano Cheese
  • Parsly, Chopped
  • Butter
  • Salt and Pepper

How to Make it:

Start by preparing your sauce in a small saucepan according to directions.

Next, cook your noodles until al dente (follow package instructions).

Now, it’s time to heat up your skillet or saucepan and drizzle in some olive oil. Add your shrimp and add in some freshly cracked salt and pepper.

Once your shrimp is just about heated add in your garlic, tomatoes, peas and butter.

Next, toss the noodles with the pesto sauce, shrimp, vegetables, and parsley.

Top off with additional vegetables (if desired) and Romano cheese and serve!
