If your VMA viewing consisted of a few clips and increasingly confusing messages from the group chat, you can still watch the whole thing.
The 2026 VMAs will be available on demand to both Paramount+ Essential and Premium subscribers starting Monday, September 28. That is the useful part: you do not need to upgrade to Premium just to watch the replay on Monday.
Because figuring out which subscription unlocks which version of an awards show should not be its own awards category.
There is a Sunday-versus-Monday catch
According to Paramount’s official viewing guide, Premium gets live and same-day on-demand access on Sunday, September 27. Essential joins the on-demand options the following day.
So if you have Essential and are looking for the full ceremony Sunday night, the announced replay date for your plan is Monday. Paramount’s guide does not give an exact upload hour. This is not a promise that the episode appears the second your clock hits midnight.
