Stanley’s Día de Muertos collection wraps its cups in papel picado artwork, with skulls, flowers and animal motifs worked into two very different color schemes.
Marigold Papel Picado is warm orange with colorful details. Salt Papel Picado pairs a creamy background with black artwork. Both have a shimmer finish, and the smallest cup starts at $35.
The artwork deserves its own introduction: Stanley credits Mexican-American artist Guadalupe Hernandez, whose work is rooted in the tradition of papel picado. The collection is a Stanley 1913 x Nest collaboration.
Three sizes, with a $5 step between each
The two designs come on a 16-ounce Everyday Tumbler and two sizes of Quencher ProTour. Here is what Stanley’s U.S. listings show:
- 16-ounce Everyday Tumbler: $35. The smaller, handle-free option has a splash-resistant slider lid, a soft silicone base and a stackable shape.
- 20-ounce Quencher ProTour: $40. This one adds the familiar handle and a built-in straw that flips up for drinking and snaps closed afterward.
- 30-ounce Quencher ProTour: $45. The larger Quencher uses the same style of flip-straw lid, with 10 more ounces of capacity than the $40 version.
Those are listed U.S. prices before tax and shipping. Check the exact size and color before ordering; a collection page does not guarantee that every combination is in stock.
The lid is the detail to choose first
The $35 Everyday Tumbler is the lower-cost way to get the artwork, but its slider lid is described as splash-resistant. Stanley describes the ProTour lids as leakproof when snapped closed. Those are different promises.
Both Quenchers have a removable spout for cleaning. Stanley lists all three sizes as dishwasher safe and made with double-wall vacuum insulation.
For a cup that mostly stays beside you at home, the stackable Everyday is worth a look. If you want a handle and a straw that closes, start with the two ProTours, then decide whether the extra 10 ounces are worth another $5.
Stanley’s separate Black Magic and Bordeaux Lace Halloween collection has different designs and cup options. These Día de Muertos pieces have their own artwork, artist and lineup.
