Starbucks Just Released New Drinks. Here’s How to Get Them.

As of today, Starbucks locations have introduced a few new drinks and you have to know about them.

The first one is called the “Smoked Butterscotch” and it comes in a Frappuccino or Latte (hot). It is really good.

It is described as “Notes of smoked butterscotch intermingle with our signature espresso, giving your latte a sophisticated new twist.”

Basically, this one tastes like a See’s Butterscotch Sucker and is similar to the Harry Potter Butterbeer Frappuccino on the Starbucks Secret Menu.

The second one is called the “Almondmilk Honey Flat White“. This one is made from shots of Blonde Espresso with a Honey Blend and steamed almondmilk, finished with the Flat White’s signature dot of foam.

Note: I was told they are now using honey flavoring instead of real honey so if you want it, ask for the REAL honey in this drink.

The third drink is called the “Coconutmilk Latte” and is made with shots of Starbucks Blonde Espresso combined with steamed coconutmilk and finished with a strike of cascara sugar.

The fourth drink is the Oatmilk Drink. It was originally created in Europe and was released in select locations in March of 2019 but now it is coming to more locations.

Starting today, approximately 1,300 participating stores in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin will begin to offer oatmilk as an additional non-dairy option, along with the featured Oatmilk Honey Latte.

The Oatmilk Honey Latte is made with Starbucks Blonde Espresso infused with Honey Blend, and steamed oatmilk with a honey topping that is both sweet and savory.

Keep in mind that not all Starbucks locations will have all of these drinks. Ask if they know what the drink is and if not, bring this information to your Barista and see if they can recreate it.

  1. 1. The smoked butterscotch is not new. They’ve had it around this time of year a few times in the past.
    2. The coconut milk latte isn’t new either. The only difference between the one being advertised and a simple coconut milk latte is the cascara topping on the advertised one.
    3. To clarify, oat milk is only available at select stores, mostly in the midwest, until Starbucks decides to launch it nationwide.

  2. The honey flavoring they are using is a honey “syrup” it’s real honey just with water added to it to make it more of a liquid..
