The Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation trial is over – Johnny won his case!

On Wednesday, June 1 the jury made the unanimous decision to find Amber Heard guilty and voted in favor of Johnny Depp.

While the jury granted Johnny $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, the judge changed the amount to the Virginia cap on punitive damages of $350,000.

That means that instead of $15 million, Amber Heard is to pay Johnny Depp $10,350,000 instead.

However, now, Amber Heard’s attorney says she can’t pay Johnny that much and I just don’t get what she expected…

During an interview with Today, Amber’s attorney Elaine Charlson Bredehoft said:

“A number of things were allowed in this court that should not have been allowed, and it caused the jury to be confused,” she said.

When host Savannah Guthrie asked if Amber would be able to pay the $10.4 million in damages, Bredehoft responded: “Oh, no, absolutely not.”

Well, I am not sure what they expected. Johnny was suing for $50 million and ended up being granted a fifth of that.

According to reports, if Amber doesn’t file a petition to appeal the verdict, she will have her current and future wages garnished to pay Johnny.

Honestly, this is what happens when you lie … KARMA.
