Well, it’s official – after days of holding out – President Trump has actually signed the Stimulus Bill as of late last night.

While the bill contains a ton of things, one thing that is probably on your mind is, “Will I be getting a stimulus check?” and yes, you will be.

Now, you might remember that the President was pushing for more than the $600 that was included in the bill but his request was denied last week.

So, with the way things are right now, at the very least, you will be getting a $600 stimulus check as long as you qualify.

As of Monday, December 28th the U.S. House plans a formal vote Monday on a plan to boost the payments to $2,000 instead of $600 but who knows if that will happen.

“As President, I have told Congress that I want far less wasteful spending and more money going to the American people in the form of $2,000 checks per adult and $600 per child,”

President Trump

As of right now, for those that qualify based on income (and qualified last time) may be receiving $600 per person and $600 per child. So, a family of 5 would receive $3000.

So, when can you expect that stimulus check? Well, a White House representative said “soon” and it could take a few weeks to get all the payments processed.

The first recipients will be taxpayers who can quickly receive direct payments into their bank accounts, because the IRS already has their banking information.

That group includes those who received their last stimulus payment by direct deposit.

So, watch your bank account, the mail and we will let you know if anything changes.
