It’s been a while since we had any controversial news from the trainwreck that we just can’t quit watching, The Tiger King, and its cast of crazy characters.
BUT now, Sources are saying that the last will and testament of Carole Baskin’s missing husband, Don Lewis, was forged.
The notary that supposedly notarized the will and the Power of Attorney, making them legal, has no memory of ever signing the paperwork.
“I don’t remember a will at all,” notary Sandra Wittkopp told the Mississippi Center for Investigative Reporting. “I was the housekeeper.”Clarion Ledger
Would it be a stretch to say we saw this coming from a mile away? I mean, half of everyone already thinks Ms. Baskin fed her late husband to her big cats. Is it such a far jump to think that maybe she had the will forged as well?
The will in question stripped Don Lewis’ family of any rights to his supposed millions, and gave everything to Carole Baskin. Convenient, I’d say.
Back in May, Joseph Fritz, who was a friend and the lawyer for Don Lewis, told Fox News that he thought the signatures on the will that was executed were forged. He believed the signatures on the will were traced.
“They had two experts deem it 100 percent a forgery. But, we knew that…we knew that before.”Chad Chronister, Hillsborough County Sheriff via Tampa Bay 10
Unfortunately the statute of limitations is up on any wrongdoing regarding the will, so whomever forged the signature on the will cannot be charged with a crime. Does this seem incredibly unfair to anyone else?
Just earlier this week we learned that Carole Baskin won control of Joe Exotic’s Oklahoma zoo. This stemmed from a $1Million lawsuit against Joe and his mom from YEARS ago. They were unable to pay, so a judge granted Carole Baskin the zoo.
