If you know a Kyle, send them to Texas!

The city of Kyle, Texas is looking to break a world record with the most amount of individuals with the same name of “Kyle” gathered in one area.

The current world record is held by Kupreski Kosci in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a total of over 2,000 people, (2,325 individuals to be exact), named “Ivan” that were gathered in one place six years ago.

So it looks like the city of Kyle is going to need 2,326 or more individuals with the same name as their city.

Therefore, if your name is Kyle while reading this or if you know of a Kyle, you or someone you know can plan to meet at the Kyle Fair Tex-Travaganza at Lake Kyle Park next month!

Just don’t forget to slap on a name tag when you get there, just kidding!

“In order to break this record, we’re calling for any and all Kyle’s. We need tall Kyle’s, short Kyle’s, young Kyle’s and old Kyle’s to get close to the record set five years ago,” City of Kyle Special Events Manager Claudia Rocha said in a press release. “We’re very excited about the upcoming, inaugural Kyle Fair and have high hopes that this event will bring out the Kyles needed to grab a spot in the record books.”

Not to mention a group photo of all of the Kyles will be pictured together and each participant will be given a free t-shirt!

Alongside the attempt to break a world record with the help of a couple thousand of Kyle’s, there will also be live music, refreshing margaritas, crafts, and even rib-making contests!
