Ryan Murphy Is Making A Jeffrey Dahmer Series For Netflix And I Can Not Wait To Watch It

I am so excited! Ryan Murphy has received the go-ahead from Netflix to start his next project. This project is called ‘Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story’ and will be a 10-episode limited series.

The show will be all about Jeffrey Dahmer, who you all know was one of the most notorious serial killers in America. It’s supposed to be from the viewpoint of his victims which is a lot different than anything else that has been done on Dahmer.

It will also touch on ideas of just how he was able to kill for so many years without being charged. I remember this from when I was young. Jeffrey Dahmer killed his first victim in 1978, I was 4 years old. He killed again in 1987 and that carried on for 5 more years! Those are the years I remember.

Did you know that he was apprehended and released at least 10 times during those years? Crazy!

So far we know that Richard Jenkins will star in the limited series as Jeffrey Dahmer’s father Lionel. They are still searching for an actor that they will have play Jeffrey Dahmer.

Janet Mock will be a writer for the series. She was also direct the series with Carl Franklin. I’m really excited about this. I loved the movie ‘Dahmer’ that came out in 2002, but I can not wait to see this story told from a different point of view.
