Ellen DeGeneres Is Ending Her Talk Show After 19 Seasons

The Ellen DeGeneres show is drawing the curtain.

According to the talk show host herself, she announced the closing of her show in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter which shared,

“When you’re a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged – and as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it’s just not a challenge anymore.”

However, this isn’t the first time Ellen thought about leaving the show.

In an interview in 2018 with the The New York Times, she contemplated going off air but her brother was opposed of the idea while her wife was in favor.

While Ellen claims the show is ending because the show is simply not a challenge anymore, many people can’t help but wonder if the real reason is because of the internal investigation from the lack of respect towards her staff including multiple allegations also claimed against the celebrity.
