Here’s Why You Might Start Seeing Christmas Lights Again
We are currently stuck in a time where people are literally shutting themselves off from any in-person interaction. It’s called social distancing.
For some people, that is really hard. Many people thrive on interaction with people and depression is kicking in for many. They don’t want to be stuck in the house.
Well, you really don’t have to be stuck indoors. You can still go outside in the yard, take a drive, take a walk and more. Just be smart about it.
We are all trying to find things to do to keep ourselves entertained and to give our brains a break from the stress of this reality. One guy on Twitter had a brilliant idea!
Put the Christmas lights back up! Lane Grindle, you are so smart!

Kids and adults get happy when they see Christmas lights. I think it is a great idea and I hope to see our neighborhood do this as well.
I love this! It is a great way to add some light back in! The negativity is festering. Time to shine some light and give the world something pretty to see!
So if you can, put those Christmas lights back up. Heck, most of you probably still have them up! Turn them on and then watch it spread.
Take a drive and see what you can find near you. You’ll still be social distancing and kids will get a little bit of joy, which also makes for happy parents too!
We did that last week. To be fair, the lights stay up all year long. They got accidentally turned on last week though and I think they are going to stay that way.
